Bring the colours of your movies and games beyond the screen with the Connect SmartHome AmbiColour TV Sync Kit. The backlight box analyses video from an external HDMI device and matches the LED lighting to the content being sent to your TV.
The 6m LED strip mounts around the back of your TV and is suitable for screens up to 85 inches. Follow the manual's starting point and clockwise installation direction so the lighting aligns with the screen.
HDMI video sync
Connect an external HDMI source, such as a streaming box, gaming console or DVD or Blu-ray player, to the backlight box's HDMI input. Connect its HDMI output to your TV. TV colour sync requires the source's video signal to pass through the box.
The box supports HDMI 2.0 video at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, with HDCP 2.2 and CEC support. Check your source settings against these capabilities before setup.
Music and mood lighting
A built-in microphone lets the lighting react to music and nearby sound, including when you are not watching TV. Use the Connect SmartHome app to choose colours and lighting effects. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support adds voice control.
Setup requirements
For app setup, use a smartphone or tablet with Bluetooth enabled and connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported. The HDMI connection needs two cables in total; the kit supplies one 1m HDMI cable.
For indoor use only. Clean and dry the back of the TV before attaching the strip, and keep the control box in a dry, ventilated position.
