Unlock an internal door with your fingerprint, the Connect SmartHome app or a mechanical key. The Connect SmartHome Smart Doorknob Lock stores up to 20 fingerprints and uses Bluetooth for local app control.
Manage access through the app
Use the Connect SmartHome app to add or remove users, register fingerprints, view unlock logs and check the battery level. A Bluetooth-enabled smartphone is required, and you need to be near the lock for app control. Wi-Fi is not required for setup.
Register fingerprints through the app before relying on the lock for access control. Before initial setup, any fingerprint can open it. Once configured, only registered fingerprints are accepted.
Choose the appropriate lock mode
The first three registered fingerprints are administrators; the remaining 17 are regular users. With the interior thumb latch in the locked position, the lock relocks five seconds after unlocking and accepts administrator fingerprints only.
In the open position, the door stays unlocked and can be opened from outside without a fingerprint. Scanning a registered fingerprint twice within three seconds locks it from outside in this mode, after which both administrator and regular-user fingerprints can unlock it.

Rechargeable power and backup access
The built-in 400mAh battery charges through USB-C using a 5V USB power source. Fully charge it before first use; charging from empty can take up to 3.5 hours. A USB-C cable and power source are required and are not included.
Check the battery level in the app and recharge when low. A 5V USB source can temporarily power the lock if the battery is flat, and mechanical key access provides another unlocking option.
